A man was on Tuesday, July 14 shot in Eastleigh by gangsters who were fleeing after a botched robbery.
The man was among members of the public who rushed out of adjacent shops to find out what was happening after a persistent commotion.

According to a CCTV footage widely shared on social media, one of the fleeing suspects fired his gun and the bullet hit the man as others scamper for safety.
The man could be seen writhing in pain on the ground.
He was later rushed to the hospital where he is currently recuperating, and in stable condition.
Responding to the matter, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said detectives have commenced investigations into the matter.
“Detectives based at Buruburu have commenced investigations into this unfortunate incident with the aim of bringing the culprits to book,” said DCI.

“Any information that may lead to their arrest will be treated with a lot of confidentiality,” DCI said.
