Benga maestro Dolla Kabarry and his wife, Connie have sparked reactions after gifting their daughter a brand new Toyota Landcruiser TX.
The couple had promised their daughter, identified as Sheryl, a car if she performs well in her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams.
In a Facebook post, Connie noted that they made the promise thinking Sheryl would not attain over 400 marks in the national exams, but to their surprise, she did.
“Things we promise our kids thinking they won’t deliver. It has come the time to deliver, stay tuned and wait for the gift, you deserve everything we promised you my sweet angel Sheryl,” she wrote.
Other than the vehicle, Sheryl was also gifted a pricey Samsung mobile phone.
The car gift sparked reactions across social media with netizens applauding the couple for the way they motivated their daughter.
