Kenya however bagged the women’s London Marathon after world record holder Brigid Kosgei retained her title.
Kosgei, 26, finished in two hours 18 minutes and 58 seconds to claim the KSh 3.2million prize.
Kosgei’s win was quite easy as she went clear of world champion Ruth Chepngetich after mile 18.
