Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Uganda’s President’s son has kicked off a storm on social media after threatening to invade Kenya.
In a series of tweets, Muhoozi poked fun at the outcome of the recent Kenyan general elections before posting how he could easily invade and conquer Nairobi.
The tweet by the commander of the land forces of the Uganda People’s Defence Force painted a picture of a hapless country that would be trounced by Uganda.
“It wouldn’t take us, my army and me, 2 weeks to capture Nairobi,” he tweeted.
Even as Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) descended on him with all manner of insults, Muhoozi proceeded to taunt Kenyans by annoyingly posing where he should set his base after the Nairobi takeover.

The General kept the taunts coming asking, “After our army captures Nairobi, where should I live? Westlands? Riverside?”
“I’m happy that members of our district in Kenya have responded enthusiastically to my tweet. Its still 2 weeks to Nairobi!”
The tweets generated a lot of heat with KOT and a section of Kenyan leaders calling out the commander for his outbursts.
History repeats itself?

Dear KENYANS, you now understand what it means to live in Uganda under Gen. Museveni and his son, whom he gifted the highest military ranks and put him in charge of our land forces! Sadly, beneath the senseless tweets lies a monster who brutalises and tortures our people for fun!

A top Army General of Uganda has just declared war on Kenya and we are busy excusing it as a joke! Ugandan ambassador to Kenya should be summoned immediately.

How to READ Politics 101. When Uganda PROVOKES Nairobi for NO good EARTHLY reason, there is a COUP in Burkina Faso, a counter COUP loading in MALI, Guinea Bissau, CHAD and Sudan. Coups are like COVID, they SPREAD. In Kenya RUTO is SAFE. But is Uganda SAFE?

What you need to know of Muhoozi Kainerugaba Museveni, the Commander of Uganda Land Forces. He is also on a @IntlCrimCourt wanted list. He should be arrested if he steps on a Kenyan soil. A former Kenyan President should have minimal contact with an ICC suspect, @mkainerugaba pic.twitter.com/AwZEx0H9BA

Muhoozi Kainerugaba is a graduate of Sandhurst Military Academy in UK.
His meteoric rise through military ranks has sparked speculation that he is being groomed to succeed his father.
Muhoozi is a buddy of Kenya’s retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and he never misses a chance to post photos with his ‘big brother’ on Twitter.
His father Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who has been in power since 1986, attended President William Ruto’s swearing in at Kasarani stadium earlier last month.
