Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju has been involved in a road accident at Magina area on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway.
Tuju was heading to Kabarak for Daniel Moi’s burial. Reports indicate Tuju’s car hit a matatu at Kijabe while heading to Nakuru.
Plans are underway to airlift him to Nairobi for treatment.
Photos shared online showed a mangled wreck of the vehicle carrying the CS. Government Spokesman Cyrus Oguna said the CS complained of chest pains after the accident.
Reports also indicate his bodyguard fractured his arm and driver fractured his right leg.
Oguna however said the victims are in stable condition.
