Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli wants Bongo star Rajab Abdul popularly known as Harmonize to contest for seat for a political seat.
President Magufuli made the remarks on Tuesday, October 15 during a public function in Ruangwa where Harmonize was among the artists who entertained the people at the function.
While giving thanks to artists who entertained the function, the president said Harmonize should consider contesting for the Tandahimba Parliamentary seat.
“I’m congratulate male artists for such great entertainment. But I congratulate Harmonize more. Which region does he come from? He comes from Tandahimba. who is the area MP?
I wish Harmonize contests for the Tandahimba seat so that he can become the area MP.”
Harmonize has been gracing public functions by President Magufuli where he uses the chance to heap praises on the president using his popular song Magufuli.
