A massive grid-lock ensued along Thika Road on the morning of Thursday, October 17 after an accident that involved more than seven vehicles.
One of the buses is saiud to have skidded off the slippery road and hit the guard rail. The bus was overtaking another when the driver lost control ramming into the guard rail.
Due to poor visibility and the slippery road occasioned by the pounding rains, oncoming vehicles collided with the two buses and stalled in the middle of the road.
The 6:30 am accident culminated to massive grid-lock on the busy highway with Traffic Police urging motorists to use the service lane.
