Murkomen reads mischief in expulsion of 6 Jubilee Party nominated Senators

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has spoken on Jubilee Party’s latest decision to expelled six nominated Senators.

Taking to his social media pages, Murkomen said the latest development is a game plan as the party seeks to remove Senator Irung’u Kang’ata as the Majority Chief Whip.

He noted that without the six nominated Senators, Kang’ata will easily be removed.

“This is the game; the 6 senators are purportedly expelled today because tomorrow they want to remove Whip Kang’ata,” he wrote.

“Since we are 38 PG members (including the fake KANU) & they can’t raise 20 to remove Whip, they will argue we are 32 so that they target only 17 Senators. Hypocrites!” He added.

Jubilee Party on Monday, February 8 expelled six nominated Senators over a number of disciplinary violations.

According to a statement signed by Jubilee Secretary Genera Raphael Tuju, the party arrived at the decision after a meeting with the National Management Committee (NMC).

During the meeting, the officials deliberated on reports submitted by the Party Disciplinary Committee before making the decisions to expel the six.

The six are Isaac Mwaura, Millicent Omanga, Prenge Victor, Mary Seneta, Waqo Naomi Jilo and Iman Falhada Dekow.
