Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru has strongly bashed Deputy President William Ruto for being unsupportive to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Waruguru accused DP Ruto of sponsoring a cabal of politicians whose mission was going around Mt Kenya painting a picture of a failed government.

” Why should the DP William Ruto plant a cabal of politicians in Mt Kenya. And the biggest assignment of this group is to go around speaking about 2022,” said Waruguru when she appeared on Inooro TV, Tuesday, June 17.
Waiguru who was until recently a staunch supporter of DP Ruto said she decided to join Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga’s camp to focus on development.
” For me, I went to see Raila as he’s a senior politician in the country and he’s also friends with Uhuru Kenyatta,” said Waruguru.
The legislator further slammed the DP for failing to support President Uhuru build his legacy and instead concentrating on the 2022 campaigns.
” What is making you not to humble yourself and focus on assisting the president leave a legacy and afterwards, he may decide to support you after his term ends?” posed Waruguru.
” The truth is Uhuru needs support of his principal assistant to enable him deliver the promises he made to Kenyans.”

The legislator said she had decided to leave DP’s camp and was now an apostle of the government.
” My eyes are now open like the Biblical Saul who transformed to Paul,” said the MP.
” I’m now an apostle of the government.”
Waruguru is among the four legislators who were recently removed from Parliamentary committees for their dalliance with DP Ruto.
