Kenyans call for arrest of chief photographed pouring illicit brew on woman
Social media users demanded the chief be arrested for breaking the very law he was supposed to enforce.
War against illicit brew in Kenya has been going on for years with every means imaginable applied to tame it.
As the fight continues, on Saturday, April 11 an undated picture showing a chief pouring illicit brew on an alleged brewer went viral causing mixed reactions among social media users.

In the photo, the alleged brewer from Turbo Constituency, Uasin Gishu County is seen seated on a wooden bench as the Chief pours the illicit brew over her head.
A young man said to be the grandson of the woman stands perplexed, a stone’s throw away.
Then photo irked a section of social media users who asked Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i to intervene and have the chief arrested and arraigned.
