Celebrated news anchor Betty Mutei Kyallo on Sunday, March 29 left a section of Kenyans puzzled after going live on Instagram while seemingly drunk.
At some point Betty went live with her producer; Sarah Mwangi where she spoke about her career complaining it had too much pressure.

The K24 news anchor further told off people who insisted she should act as a role model whose actions stood to influence many.
She said apart from her daughter Ivanna, she was not obligated to be anyone’s role model adding that people always expect to act in a certain way that suits their interests forgetting she was only human and also wanted to have a nice time.

She also told off bloggers noting that she doesn’t care what the blogs will write about her.
“Ati You cannot have this much fun cos wewe ni role model, F*** that shit, I take care of my child, Ivanna, I’m her role model, ati you’re my daughter’s role model ,so don’t go to the club.. I mean the pressure in this f*c**n…career is horrible… I’m saying the truth, I’m not gonna end this video, whatever the blogs are gonna say, ati Betty Kyalo… F**k off, F**k off bloggers” she says.

The video has since gone viral with a section of her fans calling her out for her slurred rant. Others have, however, sided with the TV girl was not bound by any standards to be anyone’s role model.
