The Kenya Authority Revenue (KRA) has suspended personal identification numbers (PINS) for many Kenyan who have gone against their rules, that is cheating.
However you can agree with me, that a number of many individuals have got their pins suspended but never tax cheated.

You do not have to worry anymore as we have highlighted how to reactivate your KRA pin.
But, before that, here are some of the reasons that can get you smoked out by the taxman.
Failed to file VAT returns but you have a VAT obligation
Trade with your pin but failed to update it on itax.
You are a VAT registered tax payer but not registered for VAT obligation.
How to reactivate suspended KRA pin
Visit the itax portal and use the PIN checker to confirm the status of your pin.
Enter your pin number then complete the security stamp the proceed to consult.
If it is suspended then proceed to the next step.
Visit itax and download the kra pin reactivation form and complete all the details asked for, I.e the pin number, you name or director names(for companies), your current email address, and telephone number etc.
Send the filled kra pin reactivation request form to the official kra pin reactivation email pinreactivation@kra.go.ke
Kra will provide to you reasons for the suspension through the email you provided. You will be expected to address all the issues raised and as advised in the email.
You will then contact kra or follow the procedure specified in the email.
Alternative method
If you not okay with the online form application, you can choose an alternative method which is visit the nearest kra office or huduma center.
From there you will get assisted.
