Eston Barrack Mbaja: Robert Ouko’s brother dies in the US

The younger brother of the late Minister of Foreign Affairs, Robert Ouko has died.

Eston Barack Mbaja succumbed to stroke aged 79 in the US.

Confirming his death, Mbaja’s brother Maurice Seda said the deceased passed away while receiving treatment on Monday, August 17 at a hospital in the US.

He further said that Mbaja’s wife and children rushed him to hospital after suffering a stroke.

Seda added that plans to fly his body to Kenya for burials are underway.

The deceased is set to be buried in Nyahera, Kisumu West Sub-County.

Mbaja is survived by a wife and four children.

He lived in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington together with his wife and kids.

Mbaja made headlines after claiming that he knows who killed his brother John Robert Ouko.

Ouko’s mutilated body was found on February 16, 1990 at the foot of Got Alila, 2.8 kilometers from Ouko’s ancestral home in Muhoroni, Kisumu County.
