Comedian Eric Omomdi has fired back at Kenya Films and Classification Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua for calling him out over inappropriate content.
Taking to Instagram, Eric shared a video of Mutua bashing him, warning him against using his name for ‘cheap’ publicity stunts.
“This is your last warning. This is not the way to address the PRESIDENT of an entire continent. Stop using my name for these cheap PUBLICITY stunts,” he warned.
The self proclaimed President of Comedy also slammed Mutua for flying all the way to Mombasa to do a press conference.
Eric said that instead of using funds in such a way, he should have given him the money to buy more cameras from his new studio.
“I have never understood exactly what you do for a living. You have not helped the Entertainment Industry in any way. So you flew all the way to Mombasa to do this Press conference, hiyo pesa ungenipatia niongeze nazo cameras kwa studio zangu so that we shoot more videos for young talented Kenyans,” Eric added.
Finally, he asked Mutua to visit his studios to see what he is doing to help young upcoming talents.
“Please visit Eric Omondi Studios and see what we are about to do to help young and upcoming TALENTS. Dont ever address me or use my name again. You dont know my story!!! You dont understand my process!” He concluded.
Speaking during a press conference in Mombasa, Mutua also called out comedian Eric Omondi for putting out inappropriate content.
The KFCB boss slammed the comic for calling himself the President of Comedy in Africa while he lacks manners and respect.
“People are doing all manner of stuff including people like Eric Omondi. Unashangaa huyu ni mwendawazimu mgani, una heshima gani, unajionesha kwa video na wewe ni mtu mzima
“Unasema wewe ni King of Comedy, si ujiheshimu basi, siniwe na heshima kwa watoto na hizo vitu ufanye and you put a disclaimer,” Mutua said.
