DJ Evolve’s father thanks MP Babu Owino for catering for son’s treatment costs

The father of Felix Felix Orinda aka DJ Evolve who was allegedly shot by and injured by Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has thanked the legislator for paying for his son’s treatment in a “ well equipped hospital.”

John Orinda said owino has so far spent KSh 800,000 on his son’s treatment, adding he was optimistic that his son will improve.

“He (Felix) has been having difficulty in breathing for the last four days. Currently, he is unable to speak,” John Orinda said when he spoke to K24 digital.

“His spinal cord was badly affected. On Tuesday, January 28, he was scheduled for a surgical operation, but the doctors said he wasn’t in good shape to undergo the exercise. The medical procedure was, as a result, pushed back to February 4,” added John Orinda.

John Orinda thanked the MP for taking his son to Nairobi Hospital, saying the situation would have been worse had he been taken to a less equipped hospital.

“I thank Babu Owino for taking my son to Nairobi Hospital. I think he would have died had he taken him to a medical facility that has limited equipment. So far, the MP has paid KSh 800, 000 for Felix’s treatment,” said Orinda, who hails from Homa Bay County.

Owino, who is facing murder charges was released on KSh 10,000,000 bail on Monday, January 27. He is accused  of shooting DJ Evolve on January 27 at B-Club located in Nairobi’s Kilimani area.
