Uhuru responds to Ng’eno, Sudi after bile remarks on mother

President Uhuru Kenyatta has broken his silence on remarks made against his mother by MPs Johanna Ngeno (Emua Dikirr) and Oscar Sudi (Kapseret).

According to a report by Citizen TV, Uhuru said those insulting his mother should leave her alone and instead abuse their own mothers.

“Wale watu washenzi wanaenda huko wakitukana mama yangu, waambieni wakatukane mama zao wachaane na mama yangu,” Uhuru said.

The president also said that although he is still young, he is not intending to extend his term in 2022.

“Even if I am young, I have no problem going home as long as people see the work that I have done,” he added.

This came two days after Ng’eno accused the government of oppression and intimidation.

“You are not Kenya and Kenya is nor Kenyatta’s or Mama Ngina’s land. This land belongs to 47 million Kenyans, you cannot run it as you wish,” Ng’eno said.

A day later, the MP was arrested and in response to the apprehension, Sudi made scathing comments about the former first lady.

“We understand police have been sent to arrest Ng’eno for saying Kenya doesn’t belong to the President, we want to condemn the imminent arrest and tell him to leave the MP alone,” he said.

However, Sudi vowed not to apologize insisting that he has no reason to apologize as he did not abuse anyone.

He said that Deputy President William Ruto has nothing to do with his remarks saying he cannot be coached on what to say because he has his own brains.

“Let them tell me my mistake. All mothers are the same and we respect them but I did not abuse anyone,” he said.

He added that those condemning him are looters and political brokers who have destroyed the country.

“They gathered in big numbers to confront me but I want to tell them that I did not abuse anyone. They should instead apologise to me for not understanding what I said,” he said.

“…it is even in the bible, that was not an insult, I will apologise once people show me where I went wrong,” he said.
