A source within the media house revealed that the proposal was a surprise to everybody working at the Red Cross owned TV station as nobody was informed.
“It happened after the show, we didn’t know someone would show up with a ring,” a source revealed.
Further, sports anchor Caren Kibet confirmed the proposal in a social media post that read;
“Tony Kwalanda put a ring on it, congratulations Mr and Mrs Kwalanda.”

This came barely a month after Joyce confirmed that she is dating Kwalanda.
Taking to social media, Joyce shared a photo of themselves romantically kissing finally revealing the man she has been hiding for a while.
Their relationship came two months after Kwalanda confessed his long-time crush for Joyce during one of his interviews on ChatSpot.
At the time, Kwalanda said he was yet to meet Joyce but had watched her on several TV shows.
Kwalanda started working at Switch TV about three months ago after being fired from K24 TV where he had worked for 11 years.
He was among over 100 journalists who had been laid off by the station over alleged redundancy.
For some time, Kwalanda was mistaken for NTV presenter Sammy Muraya, alias DJ Mo.
However, Joyce denied claims that she is dating the DJ terming those spreading rumours of the alleged relationship as pathetic losers.

“And for this other people who are sad, pathetic losers, because they believe everything they see on the internet and are so quick to speak with so much hate and bile, I will pray for you so that, that disease can leave your spirit,” she said.
