Internet sensation Timothy Kimani, alias Blessed Njugush has opened up on how he was conned his first salary.
Speaking on the recent episode of Cleaning The Airwaves (CTA) the funny man explained that he had just received his first pay when he decided to move out.

As soon as he received his KSh 30,000 cheque, he sought his father and told him he is moving out.
“I got my first cheque, which was Ksh30,000. Feeling exuberated, I instantly told my father I wanted to move out,” he said.
He explained that after graduating from university, he was lucky enough to land a role on KTN’s Hapa Kule News where he slowly rose through the ranks before starting The Real Househelps of Kawangware.

Alongside his wife, who was then his girlfriend, Celestine Ndinda, they embarked on house hunting and finally resorted to move into a bedsitter.
Having not paid rent before, Njugush ended up paying KSh 20,000 inclusive of deposit and utility expenses to a conman who posed as the landlord.
“Having not paid rent before, I was naive and easily trusted the landlord. I was confident knowing that I had covered my monthly rent,” said Njugush.
He discovered he was conned when the real landlord locked his house dor not paying rent.

Without anything to prove that he paid rent, the comedian resorted to raise the money and pay again.
