Jalang’o denies causing Andrew Kibe’s firing from Kiss FM

Radio presenter Felix Odiwour alias Jalang’o has spoken after being accused of staging Andrew Kibe’s sudden resignation from Kiss FM.

Speaking on Tuesday, June 30 on his Bonga na Jalas YouTube channel, Jalang’o denied the claims noting that Kibe is his friend further revealing that he left after disagreeing with the Radio Africa owned station.

“I am trending at number one today. The reason why, Andrew Kibe who is a very close friend of mine, has resigned. How I am trending is because I caused Andrew’s firing. So sad,” said the comedian.

“I was asleep and when I woke up, I found myself trending at number one. I have just spoken to him and he told me he disagreed with the station,” he added.

After Kibe announced his exit, his fans flocked Twitter accusing Jalang’o of being behind his firing with the aim of taking his place.

The speculations were fueled up by Jalang’o’s initial confirmation that he will be heading back to Radio Africa Group where he kicked off his radio career.

“I might end up on Waiyaki way. And there are so many radio stations, there is NRG, Jambo, KISS, Classic, will decide. But I had an amazing meeting with my friend and my boss, the first person who ever gave me the first ever radio contract. Patrick Wako. So take away NRG radio but I think I might end up where it all began, Radio Africa. Which radio? I still do not know,” Jalang’o said.
