Nelson Havi curses Babu Owino as Maragoli elder, says he will never be re-elected

The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President and Maragoli elder Nelson Havi on Friday, September 25 cursed Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino following remarks he made on social media.

Taking to Twitter, Babu said he met Lawyer Silas Chepkeres Jakakimba and discussed several matters among them Havi’s stupidity.

“Spent my afternoon with senior counsel Silas Jakakimba at his law firm. Discussed about Chief Justice Maraga, Nelson Havi’s stupidity and Education to our children,” wrote Babu.

The text angered Havi who reminded the MP how many times he represented him in court at a time when no lawyer wanted to represent him.

“I got you out of trouble with the law twice when you abused President Uhuru Kenyatta and no lawyer wanted to be seen with you,” Havi.

Havi then cursed the MP saying that he will never be re-elected to Parliament.

“I hereby curse you as the King of Maragoli: you will not be re-elected to Parliament,” he said.

The battle continued and Havi brought up a discussion reminding Embakasi East women of Babu’s cruel disparage about the two-third gender requirements

The advocate then asked netizens to comment ‘yes’ if they feel that Babu Owino should be banned from the Orange Democratic Party.

“Those in favour of Babu Owino being recalled by the women of Embakasi for belittling the two-thirds gender requirement and being expelled by the party having been charged with attempted murder say yes,” Havi added

This came days after the advocate was crowned a Maragoli elder and given the title ‘Umwilimi wa Balogoli’.

“Balogoli have several rites of passage from birth to death. For a man, circumcision is one and mandatory, it gives an age-grade. The first was Namagodo-1740. Mine was Nyayo-1983. Today, I will be installed, ahead of time and out of honour, as an elder “Umwilimi Wa Balogoli,” Havi tweeted.
