There was panic on Lang’ata Road on Friday, July 10 after a vehicle burst into flames.
The driver of the vehicle, a VW Passat said he was headed home when he noticed a smell like that of burning wires, Citizen TV reported.

He said his efforts to extinguish the fire did not bear fruit making the vehicle burst into flames.
The man who was traveling alone in the car managed to escape with no injuries.
One motorist stopped infront of the vehicle and switched on his hazard lights even as others drove past.

Firefighters from Nairobi County fire brigade arrived at around 9:20pm and managed to put out the fire.
