In the concert, Kenyan musicians among them Otile Brown, Masauti, Tanasha Donna, King Kaka and Khaligraph Jones performed.

The audience were also entertained by their governor as he performed Katerina, his favourite song.

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic struck, musicians have been calling on the government to resume concerts since that is where they earn a living.

They said it was unfair for politicians to hold rallies while entertainment gatherings were banned.

Recently, Uhuru Kenyatta visited the 26-acre park which cost over KSh 400 million to be revived.

The revived park is now an integrated urban tourist attraction site.
