Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo has gushed over President Uhuru Kenyatta describing him as a nice man despite their past political enmity.
Speaking during a recent interview with Jacque Maribe, the MP said that the terrible names she called Uhuru in 2017 were appropriate at the time, but he is now a darling to her.

“For that time, it was okay (the name-calling) but for now, we are buddies,” she said.
She added that she had known the Head of State for a long time and they even served in a crucial committee some years back.
In December 2016, Millie made headlines after publicly insulting Uhuru.
The vocal MP began her rant by calling Uhuru a fisi, before adding more words like mwizi and shenzi.
The verbal attack on the president was as a result of what she called intimidation by police at Parliament.
Later in 2017, Millie said that she had no regrets for insulting Uhuru saying that if Kenyans thought it was wrong for her at the time to verbally attack the president, then it is equally wrong for the president to use abusive language.

“If it was wrong for me to use the language I did on the president, then it is worse for him, because to those much is given much is expected. Given what the president is saying I have no regrets, she said.
