Kinuthia was bashed by a section of netizens for struggling to express himself in fluent English when reporting the dramatic arrest of Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro live from Murang’a on the evening of Monday, September 9.
In the song titled Kirindi done in Gikuyu, Kinuthia details how he almost felt hopeless after the incident which he says tested his mettle to the limits.
“ Have you reached a place in life where you feel you are valueless. You feel so down and you start wishing for death?” That’s the position I was but God came through”
In the chorus, Kinuthia encourages people chasing their dreams not to heed to discouragements thrown at them by detractors.
He also throws a bit of humour in the song saying God unlike man is gracious and is capable of blessing even those who have challenges expressing themselves in English.
“I wrote this song when I was so down, I almost gave up on life, but God’s strength came through for me,” he writes below the song uploaded recently on You Tube

He however said the encouragement from his senior colleagues gave him courage to continue.
“I almost gave up when I found myself trending all over after yesterday’s 9 pm news. But after receiving calls and texts from my bosses, colleagues, friends and fans I must say am encouraged,” wrote Kinuthia on Facebook.
Here is the song that which is already doing well going by shares on social media.
