Drama was witnessed at the Likoni channel after a trailer plunged into the Indian Ocean.
According to reports, the driver of the trailer lost controlled and plunged into the water while trying to maneuver into the ferry.
According to a report by Citizen Digital, witnesses said the trailer was hauling maize from Tanzania when the incident happened.
No injuries had been reported as of the publishing of this report.
This came just two days after a tourist bus plunged into the Indian Ocean at the same spot.
Reports indicate that the bus was embarking into the ferry when the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle before it plunged into the ocean.
The driver and a guide, who were on board at the time of the incident, were evacuated to safety as locals helped ferry officials to retrieve the bus.

Winnie Achieng’, 33, who was in the company of her son, Gift Otieno,12, was driving from Changamwe towards Mombasa Island when she lost control.
Her son managed to swim to safety but Achieng’, who was pulled out of the wreck a few minutes later, was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Coast General Hospital.
