Fugitive suspected killer cop Caroline Kangogo spemd her last moments in Kabarnet before her death on Friday, July 16, the daily reported.

The cop who was on the run after allegedly killing two men was found dead inside her parent’s bathroom in Nyawa, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

She is said to have fled the verh night she was found dead.

According to the daily, President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in the coastal region on Tuesday, July 20 for his three-day tour.

Today, Wednesday, July 21, the Head of State is expected to preside over a military event in Magangomi in Lamu.

He is also expected to meet several leaders from the region and thereafter m commission various projects, the daily reported.

A section of leaders from Meru County have demabdede the government to give updates on missing security analyst Mwenda Mbijiwe’s whereabouts.

Led by Meru ward reps Robert Kinyua and George Kimathi, the leaders gave security agencies 10 days to produce Mbijie who went missing on June 12, 2021.

They further appealed to President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy Ruto and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss to intervene in the case.

Outspoken Makueni Senator Mutula.Kilonzo Junior has alleged that Uhuru is playing games with National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principals ahead of 2022 general elections.

Th Senator said that he is keeping the NASA principals waiting for his endorsement to possibly give DP Ruto time to advance his campaigns.

Mutula said Uhuru and Ruto might seem to be at loggerheads in public but something might be going on behind the curtains.

The MP said by keeping NASA co-principals on hold, the One Kenya Alliance principals were yet to kick-off their campaigns while Ruto, on the other hand, Ruto was busy making inroads in every region ahead of the 2022 polls.
