Suspected dog thief gets arrested after bumping into journalists reporting on its disappearance

A man accused of stealing a dog in Boston, US got arrested after bumping into a crew of journalists reporting live about the incident.

The TV crew, Julianna Mazza camera person were surprised seeing the thief holding the 13-months-old German Shorthaired Pointer that had been reported missing by the owner at a parking lot.

They quickly realized the dog on sight was was Titus, the one being searched.

Mazza, pretending not to know anything about the lost dog recorded the incident and even interviewed the man.

The thief however defended himself saying he had not stolen it but found it helplessly near a car and thought it needed help.

When asked why he never called the owner to return it, he said his phone was broken.

Police officers quickly arrived at the scene, arrested the man and handed over the dog to it’s rightful owner.

The thief was charged with commiting a felony and stealing over KSh 130k.
