Celebrated Ugandan singer Edrisah Musuuza popularly known as Eddy Kenzo is stuck in Ivory Coast following Uganda’s move to ban flights into the country in a bid to combat the spread of COVID-19.

President Yoweri Museveni banned all passenger flights from flying in or out of the country with only cargo planes and their crew members being allowed into the country.

“No passenger planes will be allowed to land in Uganda or leave. Only cargo planes and their crew members will be allowed in the country,” President Museveni tweeted on Saturday, March 21.

The Sitya Loss hitmaker was gracing the Masa Fest in Ivory Coast on March 16, 2020 and after the successful concert, he decided to remain in the country to record songs with Ivory Coast musicians.

“So I’m not allowed to come back home,” the musician wrote on social media after learning about President Museveni’s new directive.
