President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have excited their support bases after attending church service together at African Inland Church at Milimani in Nairobi.

In photos shared online, the two leaders are seen shaking hands and later enjoying every moment during the installation service for the new AIC Kenya presiding Bishop Rev. Abraham Mulwa.

The meeting of the two Jubilee Party topmost leaders rekindled memories of old bromance with a section of DP Ruto’s supporters hoping the relation between them was on the mend.

In recent months, the two have not been seen together in public except during public holidays sparking claims of fallout.

This also comes days after the DP in an exclusive interview with NTV said he was sure that President Uhuru would back Jubilee’s Party candidate in the 2022 poll.

“ The way I know Uhuru Kenyatta, he will back whoever will be picked as Jubilee Party candidate,” said the DP.

The second in command also said one of the shortfalls brought by the Handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader was divisions in Jubilee Party and death of the opposition.

The ruling party has now two factions; Kieleweke faction and Tanga Tanga faction, supporting Uhuru-Raila handshake and DP Ruto’s 2022 bid, respectively.
