The founder and overseer of Prophetic Latter Glory Ministries Lucy Natasha may not have anticipated the bashing she received from netizens on Thursday, February 20 after wishing controversial Malawian preacher Shepherd Bushiri a happy birthday.

Reverend Natasha posted a sweet birthday message to Bushiri hailing him as a “gift to our generation, a great man of influence.”

May God continue to use you for generations, Nations, preserve you with his unfailing love and faithfulness and increase you more & more. I celebrate you & your impact in this generation is undeniable. You are a Global Voice Major1,” read her post.

Thousands of Facebook users flocked her comment section, with a good number of commentators accusing her of walking in the counsel of the wicked.

Others stated that she was mocking God by associating with the ‘fake’ man of God.

Here are some of the comments:

Joydrine Mumbi: Nonsense! Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the wicked. If this is the company you keep, it tells a lot about who you are. Disappointing.

Ngeerai Morris: The moment you begin joining hands with such people then we know who you are….that false prophet of all the

Hadassa Adeya: Oooh God 🙏 have Mercy on us, Natasha thank you for opening our eyes about who you are!
We are all not perfect in the eyes of the Lord but Natasha you are mocking God.

Prophet Bushiri who resides in South Africa has on several occasions hit the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Only recently, former Zimbabwe deputy finance minister Terrence Mukupe accused the preacher of having an affair with his musician wife Rachael J.

However, Bushiri issued a statement terming the allegations as fake. Last year the preacher and his wife Mary were charged for fraud and money laundering.
