A form 2 student from Mokwerero Secondary School in Kitutu Masaba has been arrested after allegedly trying to slash deputy principal with a panga.

The school principal reported the case to the area Assistant Chief immediately before the worse had happened.

According to a police report, the 18-year-old his his killing material inside his school bag and started the day as usual.

Reports show that as he tried the heinous actions, other teachers together with the staff around blocked the student and immediately informed the officers.

This comes days after Isaya Flora, a form three student from Kisii High School was arrested after allegedly stabbing two teachers on Tuesday,January 12.


It was reported that the student was late for morning preps and when summoned by the teachers he rogue.

The 17-year-old student was arraigned in a Kisii Court on Wednesday, January 13 before Magistrate Stephen Njoro and was charged with attempted murder.

One of the two teachers got seriously injured while the one got minor injuries.

The student denied the charge and was released on KSh 100,000 bond or KSh 50,000 cash bail.
