Like many elected leaders, Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris admits she is inundated by calls from youths asking her to help them secure jobs.
Now Passaris has offered to give KSh 200,000 of her salary to youth with business ideas. She further said she would engage business advisers and mentors to help the beneficiaries.
“I do not have any jobs at the moment. What i have is grants to help you get off to being self employed. I will dedicate 200k every month out of my monthly salary and the best business advisors and mentors. All you have to do is ‘pitch’ your idea on this platform,” wrote Passaris.
The post attracted attention with some of her fans seizing the opportunity to post their ideas.

The best idea is to have like 50k , where I can be visiting my dear siblings at orphanage, @EstherPassaris . Also starting a foundation group where we can dedicate ourselves in visiting them each and every month to a different institution

I live by faith not fear. Know that an idea that remains an idea is of no use to anyone not even the owner of the idea. My take about ideas not implimented, is that someone else will get ahead of you. Its just a matter of time. Patents to are also increasingly hard to protect. https://t.co/cdqTyJWPlC
