In a separate story, a woman identified as Debby Neal-Strickland warmed the hearts of many after donating her kidney to her husband’s ex-wife.
According to reports Debby and her new husband have dated for over ten years until recently tying the knot.
Multiple sources disclosed that Mylaen a 59-year-old, got diagnosed with kidney disease since years ago.
Her condition became worse in 2020 to an extent that her kidney could only function 8 per cent.
When doctors asked for a kidney donor, her brother was willing to donate but unfortunately did not match and it was. When Debby volunteered.
The donor, during a conversation revealed that she accepted the idea to make her hubby happy as he was soon to become a grandfather.
‘‘I imagined Mylaen’s daughter giving birth and her mom not being there. I just couldn’t try to change that. God told me, ‘You’re a match and you need to do this.’” Debby said.
Debby could also not let Mylaen suffer as she knows the feeling of loosing someone important as stating that her brother passed on with cystic fibrosis due to lack of double lung transplant.
