Malala Yousafzai: Woman who survived Taliban shooting completes her Oxford degree

Human rights campaigner Malala Yousafzai has expressed her joy and gratitude after completing her degree at Oxford University.

Taking to Twitter, Malala, 22, said that she is not sure of what’s ahead after completing her degree, saying that her current plans “will be Netflix, reading and sleep.”

The Nobel Prize winner was pursuing a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

“Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford. I don’t know what’s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading and sleep,” she said in a Tweet.

In 2012, at only 15 years, Malala survived an attack from a Taliban militant who shot her in the head, neck and shoulder while heading home from school in Pakistan.

Malala was attacked after becoming a vocal critic of the terrorist’s attempts to stop girls from attending school.

In 2014, she became the youngest person to ever win the Nobel Peace Prize at 17 years.
