Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi flaunts dancing skills during annual Cheda Cheda festival – PHOTOS

Outgoing Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi has amazed many with his epic dance moves while dancing at the annual Cheda Cheda festival.

According photos from the event, the county boss wore a red hat, a vintage shirt with a blue ‘kikoi’ tied around his waist.

Kingi also held a traditional stick while dancing with dancers who wore traditional attires.

The Governor flaunted his dancing skills as he copied and got right the moves that the dancers were making.

Through his social media pages, the county boss shared pictures from the ceremony, noting that it is important because it brings the Mijikenda people together.

“Our rich cultural heritage as the Mijikenda Community is a source of pride and identity. The annual Chenda Chenda festival brings us together to embrace our heritage and showcase our unique traditions,” he captioned the photos.

In a separate story on, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho held a social gathering with a section of Mombasa youth whom he entertained with his flawless dance moves.

The governor who was dancing from the top of his car was loudly applauded by attendees of the gathering who shouted at the top of their voices.

Joho had donned a casual trouser and a white shirt as he flawlessly danced to Ommy Dimpoz’ Kata.

He was accompanied by his friend and Mvita MP Abdul Swammad Nassir who also danced alongside the county boss.
