Journalist Erick Njoka tells off critics in hard hitting statement
Njoka noted that some people have been on his case and even wished he gets fired and go off air but their prayers have been in vain
Former K24 news anchor Erick Njoka recently slammed his critics in a hard hitting statement on his social media pages.
In an update on his Facebook page, the journalist slammed people who have been criticising him and his way of doing things both on and off air.
Njoka noted that some people have been on his case and even wished he gets fired and go off air but their prayers have been in vain.
He insisted that his haters may attack him but he will keep on telling his truth no matter how hard-hitting he may sound.
Njoka added that people who hate him will have to get used to him and live with their issues because he is not going to change anything.
"Yes, people say that I don't hide from any truth no matter how nasty it sounds, unfortunately for them, I am the only one they got to stand to watch for now
"Some of the troubles of being a TV personality, I may look serious but I'm brilliant and outstanding at it, you just have to live with it," Njoka said.
After leaving K24 TV, Njoka landed a new job as a news anchor at Zee Media Corporation Limited, India’s largest news network.
He made the development public by changing his social media profile description to reflect his new job.
“It happens when you keep at it. See you on the other side. It’s up to you to shape your Destiney. Never stop trying and dreaming. It happens. Here is to new titles” he wrote.
Njoka was fired from Mediamax-owned K24 in June 2020 after working for six years.
"As I take time to rest, I am also strategizing on which direction I want to take my career and I am also looking for opportunities beyond the country," he stated after leaving K24.
