Gift Osinya: Mike Sonko’s adopted son recalls day he met Uhuru Kenyatta

Popular politician Mike Sonko’s adopted son Gift Osinya has recalled day he met President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Taking to his social media pages, Osinya shared throwback pictures which showed him greeting Uhuru during a ceremony that was attended by Sonko and other dignitaries.

In the photo, Osinya is standing before the head of state and bows his head down listening keenly to what the president told him

Being the president, the former Nairobi governor could be seen clearly.

He did not write a caption but used a Drake’s songs titled God’s plan whose lyrics said it all.

Month ago, Mike Sonko and his family were elated after son Moses Gift Osinya completed High School.

Osinya was among the thousands of students who sat for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) that ended on Wednesday, April 21.

The young man, upon completion of his last paper donated some his personal effects to needy students.

Osinya donated his textbooks, beddings, uniforms among others to a needy form three student at the Lenana school where he studied for the last four years

When results were out, the family was happy after he scored grade B- in the national exams, further thanking God for His mercies upon his son.

After scoring an impressive 399 marks in KCPE four years ago, he proceeded to Lenana School in Nairobi for his secondary education where he has made us proud again by scoring an impressive B – (minus) in his KCSE,” excited Sonko wrote.
