“God forbid! Those are very dangerous rumours and I can assure you that he is okay. He is even having his lunch,” he said.

His father, John Orinda on the other hand confirmed that his son had not died and was doing well at their home in Fedha estate.

“He is doing fine. The device that was put on his throat is still there, he is not talking clearly yet. I have been called by another journalist asking about the same. Whoever is spreading that information is not a good person.

“A person who can proclaim death on someone who is alive? What kind of a person is that? It is not good at all. I have called my son, who stays with him, and he is doing fine,” John Orinda told Mpasho.

This came moments after rumours spread online stating that DJ evolve had died.

Dj evolve was shot last year allegedly by Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino during a scuffle at the B-Club in Kilimani, Nairobi.

It was reported that the DJ was shot twice in the neck by the Babu Owino over an unknown fight.

Later on, it emerged that the wrangle started after a joke gone back. According to revellers the two teased each other about who owns a small gun and who has a large gun.

It was when the man resembling Babu Owino took out his gun and shot the DJ.

According to police report, the DJ was shot using a Steyr M9-A1 gun.

He was taken to hospital for over six months before being discharged.
