However, Kay and his colleague Ronald Wafula who had been contracted to build the classrooms locked its doors on grounds that the MP had not settled a KSh 3.4 million balance.

A brief altercation ensued shortly before the MP slapped the musician while demanding keys to the classrooms.

Barasa then left for a separate function where he denied slapping Kay, arguing that he was reminding him to zip his trouser.

“Because he is my friend, I thought he had gone for a short call and failed to zip up his trouser. I saw his private part hanging outside and the trouser is unzipped and I said let me go and tell him to zip up. But when I was taking a step towards him, he started running away thinking that I was going to fight him,” said the MP.
