Citizen TV news anchor Jeff Koinange’s elder brother David Waiganjo Mbiyu was on Friday, September 18 finally laid to rest.

The late was laid to rest in a burial ceremony attended by family and close friends.

Taking to his social media platforms, Jeff shared photos from the burial ceremony and captioned;

“Farewell, my Brother! We LOVED you but God LOVED you MORE!! You Will be MISSED,” the celebrated media personality wrote.

The late Waiganjo passed away last Thursday after being involved in a grisly road accident.

According to reports, Waiganjo was driving to his Muthera farm in Mau-Narok from Nakuru town when his car rolled several times killing him on the spot.


The news about his death was made public by Jeff in a moving social media post.

“Still trying to come to terms with the fact that you are no longer with us, my Big Brother and My Friend. Yours was a Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold!

“You will be Sorely Missed and this Pain will NOT go away anytime soon! We Loved you BUT God Loved you More, Father Abraham!” He wrote.

The late is survived by his two wives Nancy Wairimu Waiganjo and Rita Waiganjo and six children: Damaris Wambui, Yvonne Wanjiku, Yvette Kabura, Luther Mbiyu, Arthur Ndegwa and Ruth Wambui.
