Kenya has recorded 114 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total tally of confirmed cases in the country to 34,315.
Speaking during the daily COVID-19 briefing, Health CAS Dr Rashid Aman said the new cases were recorded from 1,682 samples tested under the same period.
Out of the new cases, 93 are men while 21 are women with the youngest case being a one-year-old and the oldest aged 85 years.
318 patients were discharged from hospital under the same period, bringing the total tally of recoveries in the country to 20,211.
Of the new recoveries, 263 were discharged under the home-based care system, while 55 patients were discharged from various hospitals.
No deaths were recorded during the period, with the total tally of fatalities remaining at 577.
