The singer, in his recently released song called Tukunia, has equated presidential advisers to independence home-guards who sold out their mothers for bread.
Njoroge has told Uhuru to scrutinize the people surrounding him saying most of them do not care about the welfare of the common man.
” Our father watch out, you’re surrounded by people who are full of hypocrisy and who are not telling you the truth,” says Njoroge in one of the lines.
He further says economy is on a free fall given the continued destruction of the transport, coffee, tea and coffee sectors.
“ Be careful, the dogs are now preparing to devour the owner as they have no option,” says the musician who supported Kenyatta in his two presidential campaigns.
Njoroge warns the president that like King Ahab, the biblical king who disregarded advice from a prophet of God, he risked leaving the country in a bad shape.
“There is a pregnancy you want us to abort but we’re fearful of the outcome. I am not very educated, but I think aborting a seven-month pregnancy is pretty dangerous,” warns the singer, adding that it would be better for the President to honour his political promises before cultivating new alliances.
