Drama ensued in a home in the United Kingdom after two burglars were arrested while breaking into someone’s house.

According to Staffordshire police inspector John Owen, his team received an emergency call from one of the thieves who sat on his phone and accidentally dialed 999.

He immediately dispatched his team to the location after recording crucial information from the suspicious call.

Taking to his Twitter page, Owen termed the two world’s unluckiest burglars.

“I think we have just arrested the world’s unluckiest burglars. Whilst committing a burglary one of the bungling burglars has accidentally sat on his phone & dialled 999. We recieve a call detailing all of their antics up to the point of hearing our patrols arrive to arrest them,” he wrote.

The two, aged 49 and 42 will face burglary charges.
