American singer Bobby Brown has spoken two days after the death of his son Bobby Jnr.
Brown’s son passed away inside his apartment on Tuesday, November 17.
In a statement, Brown asked the public to pray for his family noting that Bobby’s death has left the entire family devastated.
“Please keep my family in your prayers at this time. Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family,” he said.
He asked that the family’s privacy be respected at this trying time in their lives, adding that there will be no further comment.
Bobby was pronounced dead by police at the Los Angeles apartment.
Police said that they believe no foul play was involved and additional details on the death were not immediately released.
According to reports, the 28-year-old was sick before his death.
His friend Karey Graves revealed that he had called her informing her that he might not make it.
Bobby was the son of Bobby Brown and Kim Ward.
His son’s death came five years after her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found face-down in a bathtub at her suburban Atlanta home.
She was in a coma for six months before dying in hospice care at age 22.
An autopsy showed that she had morphine, cocaine, alcohol and prescription drugs in her body.
