The Nairobi Diocese Bishop Joel Waweru has prophesied that William Ruto will be country’s fifth president in 2022.
Bishop Waweru was speaking during Sunday service at the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) St Patrick’s Kayole, Embakasi Central, Nairobi.
The bishop who was expounding on the construction of the church within the compound said he could sense the church would be opened by the DP in 2022.
“ And you know what will happen in 2022…we’ll be swearing in a new president. And you’ve already seen him. Haven’t you seen him,” posed Waweru.
“Or you don’t have eyes?” he asked the congregation.
“ And because the consecration of the church is done by the bishop, I will do the consecration of the church and His excellency will do the opening of the church (sic),” said Waweru.
on a light note, the bishop said he was sure about his ‘prophecy’ coming to be as he a prophet’s name.
“ My name is Joel and Joel is a prophet. And the Bible says whatever has been opened in heaven has been opened here,” said the Bishop as the congregation cheered.
Bishop Waweru’s pronouncements comes barely hours apart after Embu Catholic Bishop Paul Kariuki talked of Ruto’s Tanga Tanga beating the rival Kieleweke faction in 2022 poll.
“ 2022 is coming. And that which you’re calling Kieleweke will come back to haunt you. And you’ll know that indeed you did not know,” said the bishop during a Sunday Mass in Embu.
