Zimbabwe’s Toe-Selling Joke Takes Internet by Storm

Kenyans on Twitter have gone wild with hilarious reactions to claims that Zimbabweans are selling their toes. 

In the recent past, the claims emerged on social media sparking reactions from all quarters.

A Facebook post by a user identified as Dancliff Nyaisa revealed that a big toe goes for KSh 4.5 million while the small ones retail for KSh 2.25 million. 

“People in Zimbabwe are now selling their toes. A big toe goes for KSh 4.5 million and the small one goes for KSh 2.25 million,” Nyaisa said. 

The post sparked wild reactions from netizens who shared all sorts of opinions regarding the awkward discovery in the South African country.

At the same time, Zimbabwean authorities are probing the alleged trafficking of the human body parts. 

National Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said they were investigating the claims of human body parts being sold.

“Police are conducting investigations and we shall issue a comprehensive report in due course. The public must do things according to the laws of the country, especially when it comes to human body parts

“That is why we are saying as the police we are monitoring the situation,” said Assistant Commissioner Nyathi.

He said those found soliciting, selling and buying human body parts will be arrested.
