Popular musician Bahati’s baby mama Yvette Obura has finally responded to the singers apology for neglecting her and their daughter Mueni Bahati.
On Tuesday,July 13, the star pleaded for forgiveness from his daughter, Mueni admitting that he neglected her when she was born and only met her when she was two years old.
Mama Mueni, taking to the comment section, asked Bahati not to worry as she has no grudge with him. She also thanked him for being a good father and making co-parenting easy.
“Thank you so much baba Mueni for this. If we talk of forgiveness, I forgave you a long time ago not for me but for Mueni. For her to grow in a peaceful and loving environment. You’re and you’ve been an amazing father to #Mueni and I believe that’s all that matters. May your cups never dry,” she said.
In a separate post the beauty advised her followers to always relate with people well to avoid hurting them.
“Let’s normalise not hurting other people in whichever way.,” Obura wrote.
In Bahati’s apology, he regretted abandoning the cute girl revealing that they even had to go for DNA test 2 years later to confirm if she is her daughter.
He was sorry for letting Obura struggle alone with taking care of their daughter.
“I was at the peak of my career as a gospel artiste…I was surrounded by heavy judgement. I ended up being a hypocrite not being proud of my blood. I think this is another opportunity to ask for forgiveness from Yvette and my daughter for keeping you a secret and away from the public for almost two years. It’s never what I wished for but because of what I lived for,” he wrote in part.
