Content creator and TV host Joan Murugi, alias Yummy Mummy has opened up on why she stopped sharing photos and videos of her husband, Zach Munyi on social media.
Taking to her Instagram account, the media personality said they decided to keep their marriage private noting that pressure from the public affected them negatively.
“The only thing I don’t share anymore is anything to do with my marriage/husband. And that’s because we realised the pressure of public scrutiny on our relationship was affecting us negatively, and we decided that it was better to keep that part of our lives private,” she wrote.
She added that marital challenges are enough without adding negative comments from social media users.
Yummy Mummy further explained that she is the one who chose the public life and so her family should not be part of it unless they choose to.
She added that her two infant daughters have no choice in the matter until they grow old enough to decicee whether or not they are interested in the publicity.
“Relationships are difficult enough as is without the added pressure of public and scrutiny as it adds little value to it. Plus, I chose this life; he didn’t. My kids have no choice until they actively decide they don’t wanna be shown here,” she wrote.
This came months after she addressed her alleged break up with her husband.
Taking to Instagram, Yummy Mummy dismissed the inquiries about her marriage, noting that people were out to source for gossip.
“I’m sick of all these questions about Zach and my Marriage. Are you asking because you are genuinely care about me or you just want the tea? Examine your heart and your intentions,” she wrote.
