You’ll also be used and dumped- MP Ndindi Nyoro slams Matiang’i after Dennis Itumbi sacking

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has broken his silence about the sacking of Dennis Itumbi from Presidential Strategic Communication Unit.

According to Nyoro the sacking of Itumbi and four other colleagues from the State House job reeks of “Use and Dump” that is becoming common to political appointees.

“I think we pretend so much as a people. Alot of niceness amid betrayal. Dennis Itumbi, Eric Ng’eno, James Kinyua and David Nzioka joins a long list of “Use and Dump,” I’m sure they know better than most of us,” said Nyoro.

The MP described Itumbi as one who put his life on the line to support President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto during the crimes against humanity case that pitted the two at the International Criminal Court at the Hague.

“Dennis put his own life in the line around the time of ICC proceeding. We could all read his social media posts and quiver. He was a nice, hardworking young man full of tech ingenuity. He was “going far”. He is now a pariah whose usefulness has no more utility – dumped,” added Nyoro.

The MP, however, encouraged Itumbi saying he stood to soar higher after his sacking adding those who orchestrated his sacking will suffer the same fate.

“Even the Super Minister who authored that letter will soon be dumped. They call it fattening for slaughter. As for you Dennis Itumbi, what I’m certain about is this, you will soar higher,” said Nyoro.

On Wednesday, March 18, Itumbi’s position as the Digital Communications Director at the PSCU together with four of his colleagues was declared redundant together with four of his colleagues.

The four are James Kinyua, Erick Ng’eno, David Nzioka, and John Ndolo.

It has also emerged CS Fred Matiang’i had on Monday, March 16 requested the Public Service Commission (PSC) to declare positions held by Itumbi and four others declared redundant.

The five would receive their redundancy letters Wednesday, March 18.
