Concerned Kenyans have trooped to social media to question the whereabouts of the celebrated United States-based Kenyan journalist Larry Madowo.
Larry, who is attached to the international broadcasting giant CNN, is normally very active and vibrant on social media and his sudden silence has raised eyebrows.
The Fourth Estate fellow, who has earned admiration among Kenyans for scaling greater heights in his career, last tweeted on February 7 and was talking about the Africa Cup of Nations competition.
In the tweet, the television hunk was supporting Senegal to win the 33rd edition of the competition which was held between 9 January and 6 February 2022 in Cameroon.
“#TeamSenegal win #AFCON2021 for the first time ever!” he shared.
Larry has also not graced the television screens since then.
Consequently, the netizens, through the hashtags #LarryMadowospeak and #WhereisLarryMadowo, took to social media to question the journalist’s strange silence.
Cliff Ghaa posed: “Now that no one is asking. Where is Larry Madowo?”
Sir Isaac said: “Welcome to Kenya where no one knows what Larry Madowo is up to anymore.”
Tim Kibet said: “Larry Madowo decided to mind his business.”
Siphe said: “Anybody seen or heard from Larry Madowo ever since he discovered he’s good at axe throwing?”
Okello Misori said: “Larry Madowo’s handle is too quiet he’s not even on CNN screens. Kwani alienda further studies?
Loketo Lukorito said: “Linda Oguttu, please help us know where Larry Madowo went to. I think he last posted in February on all his social media pages. Si huwa tunasema we need to check on each other?”
